Guest House

From Entrance

The rock wall with its lighted pillars and cobblestone divider in the driveway signify that you have finally reached the area where the compound begins. The Guest House is the first to greet you and is located to the left of the stamped concrete driveway.

Lawn Area

The lush gardens and grounds have an extensive automatic watering system and exterior lighting system. Eye catching rock walls are common to the area and are found throughout the property where they help to sculpt the landscape and define the areas.

Exterior

The exterior of the Guest House is cedar shake shingles with cedar trim. The covered entry and full dormer on the upper level add architectural interest to this smaller home.

First Floor

The open concept design of this home features 8" pine post and beam exposed timber framing, 9+ foot ceiling height and an overall space of 30' by 24'. Flooring is large terracotta style ceramic tiles with blue accents.

First Floor

The Kitchen area measures 12' by 9'5" and is open to the rest of the first floor. Granite counter tops, tumbled marble backsplash, pine cabinetry with under cabinet lighting and a 4 person bar area for seating make this a comfortable work space.

First Floor

A full bathroom with shower stall and a laundry closet with a stackable washer/dryer unit are both located off the main room and allow for ease of access. Stairway on the same wall leads up the loft bedroom.

Loft Bedroom

The 13+ foot cathedral ceiling with exposed post and beam exposed timber framing, tongue and groove pine floors, Casablanca paddle fan and 2 eve closets allows this 29' by 18' space to be a refuge at the end of the day.

Deck

The 24' by 19' teak wood deck can be accessed directly from the house or from either side of the yard. Railings are teak and redwood. The Lewis Brook below provides soothing sounds while you sit outside to enjoy dinner on a warm summer night.
